In total, a professional basketball court costs about $ 30,000 for installation. Like many other construction projects, the cost of the court depends on many factors. Often times the most overlooked details are the ones that end up costing the most money.
Size
This may seem very obvious, but the bigger the court the more expensive it’s going to be. Your budget should already take into consideration the cost of extra material. But even adding an extra 2-3 inches to your court will increase the price.
Backyard Sport Court Ideas
Please also keep in mind that each city and state has different building regulations. One court that you build in a certain part of the world will cost less than if it was on a different part of the world.
VersaCourt has a huge database with building regulations for almost every city. Check them out if you want to see exactly how big you can build your court.
Basketball Hoops And Accessories
No basketball court is complete without at least one hoop. While regular courts usually use two hoops, the costs will be much higher than using one hoop. VersaCourt recommends and offers Goal setter basketball hoops and can give installation instructions.
